Professional Event Host For Gala Dinners, Awards and Corporate Events

I help organisers like you deliver smooth, memorable evenings - everything from black tie galas and corporate awards to charity fundraisers. I'm James Webster - a professional Event Host and Master of Ceremonies based in Warwickshire. 

Do you need someone to hold your event together? Perhaps you need advice on how best to plan your event? Either way, you want a seamless event to wow your guests (and maybe your boss) - you are in the right place!

My style is warm, polished and flexible. If you're looking for your traditional Toastmaster in a red jacket I'm not your man - but I still work directly with clients and venues to manage timings, support speakers, and keep the event flowing seamlessly.

My work has taken me across the world (even as far as the Maldives for a celebrity retreat) as well as hosting well over a thousand weddings here in the UK. Another highlight was hosting ‘Carols at Warwick Castle’ in 2024, along with a myriad of fundraisers and Gala Dinners here in the UK.

 

You can book me on my own, or as a duo with a female presenter - to add an extra voice to the proceedings is great to keep people totally engaged, and gives the feel of a TV double act.

I also own and operates "Events From History" - an entertainment company, so can add a little extra to your event with my team of performers, or even provide AV equipment and staging if needed!

We are having a themed event. Will you dress in costume?
Will you be able to provide AV for us?
This is our first time doing this. Will you help us plan our event?

Of course! Let me know the theme and I will do my best to fit with it! I've dressed as The Greatest Showman (and sang the songs), Indiana Jones and many more to help the theming along a bit! 

As part of 'Events From History' we have a stock of microphones, speakers, stage lighting and staging. Get in touch with your requirements and I'll see if I can help!

Don't worry. You won't be left alone!! I'll help you every step of the way so that we can produce a memorable event (for all the right reasons!) 

What does an MC do at my event?
I'm a control freak! Why do I need you? I'll do it myself.
What do you need from me?

Your MC should greet your guests, welcome them and set the mood. They should introduce any guest speakers, keep any transitions seamless, handle any unexpected situations professionally and reinforce any corporate/charity messages. In short, make your event cohesive, polished and memorable.

I get it. You've planned an event and you want to retain control over it all - but honestly you can't be everywhere! You can sit back and enjoy the event, safe in the knowledge that we have prepared it together. That way, your guests will congratulate you on a job well done as you look calm and collected.

We will have plenty of communication prior to your event, so that we have the running order, a rough script and any slides that will be shown. As long as we are able to prepare together, this will be a dream partnership!!
